This includes: • Working collaboratively with other members of the Clifford Craig Foundation research team to support a variety of activities involved in the conduct of funded research projects. • Ensuring patient consent forms regarding participation are completed and collecting and recording necessary information from patients participating in the research.

The role:

The Research Assistant - Clifford Craig Foundation provides administrative and project support to various Clifford Craig Foundation research teams. This includes:

• Working collaboratively with other members of the Clifford Craig Foundation research team to support a variety of activities involved in the conduct of funded research projects.
• Ensuring patient consent forms regarding participation are completed and collecting and recording necessary information from patients participating in the research.
• Acting as resource to the various Principal investigators for all non-clinical aspects and administrative queries associated with the collection and analysis of data.
• Managing research data, including ensuring its completeness, accuracy and confidentiality.
• Contributing to the quality of Clifford Craig Foundation research by providing administrative support to the post research evaluation and general education to clinical units within the LGH on all administrative process and standards of the Foundation.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible

• notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $77,213 - $88,851 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

• An undergraduate degree in a health related area

• Excellent database management skills

• Existing familiarity with databases used across the Tasmanian health system

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
